With over 200 years combined experience in healthcare, real estate, construction, business operations, philanthropy & community support, a collaborative vision was formed to create a safe, relaxed, and fun place for seniors to begin their next journey. Our vision is clear, this is not a dreary, institutional place, but instead a vibrant community that gives you a reason to get up and going every day. We want to celebrate you, your life, and where you’ve been while creating new memories together as you join this wonderful community. The Landing Senior Living is locally owned and operated, giving our management team and investors the opportunity to be involved with every aspect of this wonderful community.

Megan Sasso

Regional Operations Director- Bogart/Winder

Megan leads with her warm heart and deeply cares for others. Her background in Activities, Customer Service, and Public Health reinforce her desire to meet the individualized care needs of every life she touches. She is intrigued by, and skilled at recognizing, the unique qualities of individuals, and enjoys making senior living a fun and fulfilling place to be for each resident. A native of the Florida Panhandle, she now resides in Athens with her wonderful husband and two adorable dogs. She loves spending time with her family, fishing, cooking, and being outside..


Jennifer Flowers

Chief Executive Officer

Jennifer has vast experience in business management with a background in ambulatory healthcare administration, human resources, construction and finance. Jennifer enjoys problem solving, team building, and process improvement. Jennifer graduated from Valdosta State University in 1999 with a Bachelors in Business Management.  She has been a  licensed life & health insurance agent for 23 years.  She is passionate about seniors and loves watching the entire team create safe, fun, enjoyable opportunities for each resident.  Jennifer loves her dogs, working out, working in the yard, deer hunting, and taking vacations. 


Christin Smith

Regional Director of Marketing

With a passion for navigating families through senior living options, Christin has worked in the senior living industry in and around Oconee County for over seven years. Christin has experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care placement options. Christin graduated from Georgia College and State University in 2012 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology: Community Health and Human Services. Christin’s education, experience, and servant heart allows her to serve as an informational senior care resource and provide social support and direction to seniors/families in need. Christin lives in Madison County with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. Christin enjoys  cooking, and traveling with her family. 


Sadie Foust

Human Resources Manager

Sadie is passionate about ensuring our team and residents have a positive and safe environment each and every day. Her experience in the hospitality industry has revealed her love for people and desire for excellent customer service. Sadie was born and raised in the Midwest; but moved with her family to the Athens area when she was 16. She graduated from Athens Technical College with an Associates in Business Management & Human Resources. She and her husband enjoy fishing, leading the student ministry at their local church, and spending time with family & friends. 


Lisa Foster, LPN

Executive Director/LPN-Bogart

Lisa Foster was born and raised in Athens, GA and has been a nurse for over 20 years. She has over 18 years of geriatric nursing experience where she completed extensive dementia education and training. Lisa prides herself on being a great listener as well as team player. Lisa has a servant heart for resident care and is passionate about the opportunity to care for and learn from residents in the later years of their life. She has a wonderful husband of 28 years along with two beautiful daughters and four grandchildren. She enjoys spending free time with her family and traveling to see new things/places with her husband. 


Shanita Hall, CMA

Wellness Coordinator

Shanita Hall was raised in Greensboro, GA where she has worked in the healthcare industry for over 18 years. Growing up helping her aunt who owned and operated a personal care home inspired her to work with seniors. The love and care her aunt gave was unmatched which taught Shanita how to compassionately care for others. Shanita has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2002. She obtained her Certified Medication Aide license in 2014 and later her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant license. Shanita oversees the community medication aide staff and works closely with the pharmacy team. She stays in communication with residents and family members to aid in care coordination and delivery. Shanita has a wonderful husband and two amazing children! She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, sports, and the outdoors.  

Jennifer Watson, LPN

Executive Director/LPN-Winder

Jennifer Watson has been a nurse for over 20 years and has over 11 years of experience in working with seniors and their families through case management and most recently as the regional branch manager of a home health care company. Her true passion is assisting the elderly and disabled in having the ability to “age in place” so that they can remain safely in their preferred environment as long as possible. Jennifer prides herself in having compassion and a servant heart for those in her care as well as for their families.  Jennifer lives in Winder with her husband of almost 28 years. She has three wonderful children, two boys and a girl, and two awesome grandchildren!  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and traveling with family.


Dianne Hayes, CMA

Wellness Coordinator

Dianne Hayes has over 25 years of experience working with seniors! She began her caregiving career in a skilled nursing/rehab facility and became CNA certified in 1997. She has worked for numerous families from 2008-2020 and ran her own private sitter agency employing other caregivers to assist with elderly in-home care. Dianne is a Certified Medication Aide and works closely with care staff and the pharmacy team. She stays in touch with residents and their family members to aid in care coordination and delivery. Her belief is that working as a caregiver is more than just a job, it’s truly a calling. She feels we should strive to take care and treat others as we would desire to be treated in life.  Once you meet Dianne, it’s easy to tell that she treats each resident and team member with Love, Compassion & Respect.   


Amanda Cartrette

Director of Life Enrichment, Bogart

Amanda Cartrette is a life-long resident of Oconee County. She found a passion collaborating with people and elderly patients during her early career in the medical field. After working 10 years for the University of North Georgia, Amanda rejoined healthcare in 2022 supporting residents in assisted living as an Activity Director. Amanda has fallen in love with her new role and states “putting a smile on a resident’s face makes my job worth doing.” She loves getting to know each resident individually and feels they have become part of her extended family. Amanda has two children, a son, and a daughter. She is a competitive cornhole player and enjoys spending time with her family and new dog Thor.


Shelia Horlback

Director of Life Enrichment, Winder

Shelia Horlback has vast experience working with seniors as an exceptional Activities Director. Born in New York City and raised in Charleston, SC, Shelia moved to Lawrenceville, GA at age 17 and has lived there since! Shelia creates environments where residents thrive by leading a purposeful activities program. She advocates strongly for residents and families. Shelia is a loving mother of one adult son. In her spare-time she enjoys cooking, singing, and dancing. She is a huge fan of gospel music. She is inspired by bringing smiles to the faces of our residents. Shelia’s dream is to open a Women’s shelter where women can find peace, safety and be supported within a loving community.


Lori Leigh

Property Manager, Independent Living

Meet Lori Leigh! She was born and raised in southwestern Ohio. Yes, she WAS an Ohio State fan but wholeheartedly joined the UGA fan base when she moved to Athens in 2019.  Lori spent 25 years in south Florida where she enjoyed being on the beach and in the water. She has two daughters that live out of the country, a Pitt Bull, and a 26-year-old African Grey.  Lori enjoys hiking, kayaking, canoeing, and being outside whenever she can. Lori is a talented baker and makes phenomenal cheesecakes!

She has worked with the Landing Senior Living since February of 2020 in a variety of positions but most loves interacting with residents through trips, events, and activities! Lori loves getting to know and work with seniors and their families.   


Tierra Pittard

Human Resources Specialist

Tierra Pittard is a native of Oconee County.  Tierra’s passion and drive to help others succeed makes her a natural fit as a Human Resources Specialist. She has years of experience working in customer service, management, and healthcare. Tierra’s dedication to help improve the lives of others is a critical component that aligns with the mission and values of The Landing Senior Living.  Tierra loves to meet people and strives to make them smile. Tierra enjoys spending her spare time with her two beautiful girls, her family, her special friends that are practically family, crafting, and attending church.
